Brissy- Home of the Mullet

A quick breakfast, then off to the Brisbane central district via the city Catamaran.  I'm not sure if it is just Brisbane, but Aussie's could use decent hairdressers.  We found the dying out mullet, it is in downtown Brisbane.  Those that weren't showcasing this fabulous redneck style, we're sporting a bit of a backwards swoop as seen on TV by Christian of Project Runway infamy.  Hmmm...

After walking around Brisbane for the day, we ate dinner at a Greek restaurant.  Joy, another VIF teacher met us there.  She is doing well, and has moved to the ranks of administrator along with Di and myself.  We met Belinda, Di's sister. What a lovely hoot she is.  We then took a drive to Mt. Cout-tha to see the lights of Brisbane.  The view was beautiful, but the cold wind ensured a brief viewing.

Home and to bed, as in the morning, this leg of the journey will be finished.  We'll part ways with all of the Aussie's from this side of the continent, Med, and Bill too.  I've enjoyed the company of this fantastic group and will miss them immensely but will also enjoy a little more intimate opportunity to tour Sydney.  Tomorrow Rusty, Art and I start Part 2 of our Australian Adventure, and boy are we looking forward to it.
